The hotel is located in the heart of the former western part of the city just on the famous "Kurfurstendamm" within easy walking distance of Berlin's sights and shops. The owner and designer of the hotel is Artur Brauner, a renowned Berlin film producer and therefore all rooms are dedicated to national and international movie stars.

The hotel building is a modern build of stone, glass and steel. The hotel lobby is large with plenty of comfortable seating areas left of the reception. A lobby bar is adjacent to the reception and the hotel is full of film memorabilia like old cameras, spotlights etc. All rooms are air conditioned and equipped with modern amenities including fax and modem connection. The rooms are medium in size with exceptional large windows creating a fresh and airy atmosphere. Mr Brauner imported Italian designer furniture to furnish all the rooms. The restaurant is situated on the first floor just next to the in-house cinema called "Lupe". This hotel is highly recommended for all travelers due to its excellent location and high standard.
